Agricamping Romita
Country/Region
The Tuscany region is one of the best known and most beautiful regions of Italy. Agricamping Romita is located in the heart of Tuscany, 30 kilometers south of Florence. The Tuscan landscape is characterized by green hills with cypress trees and beautiful towns and villages, of which Florence, Siena and San Gimignano are the best known. The region is also known for its Chianti wines and olive oil. A visit to these wine and olive farmers should certainly not be missed. The owners of Agricamping Romita make their own olive oil, among other things. This is a place to discover Tuscany and enjoy the good Tuscan life.
Camping
Agricamping Romita is a small, 25-site campsite in a quiet location in the green hills of Tuscany between the villages of Tavarnelle and San Casciano in Val di Pesa. The Tendi Safari tents are set among olive trees in rolling grounds with beautiful views. Of course there is a small swimming pool at the campsite with a terrace and a small bar. At the campsite shop you can order fresh bread and obtain some local specialties (such as olive oil, honey, marmalade, local cheese, salami, wine). In the evening you can enjoy a delicious meal at Antica Pieve in Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, 4 km away. The owners organize excursions to wine farms with tasting. Ideal for tranquility!
